I went back this past month and did it again the 3rd time found out that I Failed again, now my time is running out because I can only take this exam 5times, it will be 5yrs that I finished school in october. on my 3rd attempts I did 5 wks of NCSBN, Saunders, Kaplan strategy, I did not finishedSaunders because of my exam day, I supposed to take the exam in 2014 but I keep on change the date till the time I can change it no more, but before I went for the exam I felt comfortable that though when I don't see my result on time I was so afraid and I end up doing the quick result and I found out that I Failed again.
I want to have my RN license but the way things is going I don't know what to do, shwould I try and get my license as LPN ( if I want to do how should I study again and shock book should I used because have spent a lot in buying books ) OR should I go and sign on for RN program I don't know.
Please any advice or help I need all please.
Thank you

Most states only graduates of PN programs are eligible to take the nclex-PN for licensing as an LPN.
LPN is not a consolation prize; many found the NCLEX-PN more difficult than the NCLEX-RN.
You are using multiple sources and nearly 5 years post graduation. Contact your school of nursing for help, bring your candidate performance reports. Your school has a vested interest in you passing the NCLEX. They should be able to help create a targeted study plan for you.
Thank you. but unfortunately I went to private school and the last time I checked my school listing on BON web site they have closed.
Try a tutor?
Please do you know anyone you can recommend, I heard people talking about Hurts review any one do you known.
Can't recommend a tutor. You need to stick with one resource. If content is your weakness then try hurst. If test taking strategies, try Kaplan.
See if you bring in your candidate performance reports if they will help you develop a targeted plan with their method

Give 101% effort & scheduled time to read Saunders and answer the Q's after each chapter. You can have a goal for 1-3 chapters a day depending on how long each chapter is. Usually the MED-surg subjects will take you one whole day or even two days to finish. If you're on a strict study schedule you'll be able to finish saunders in one month or 1 1/2 month.
You can back up your knowledge from saunders through hurst (they teach you great content)
Then for practicing Questions use Kaplan with live lectures. Its motivating & they provide each student with thousands of questions to practice on
See if you bring in your candidate performance reports if they will help you develop a targeted plan with their method.
Thank you. Now am waiting for my result, when I see it I will know what am doing wrong and i will applied your advice. Thank You I knew it was so long that I graduated from school, now is only God that can help me and I will do my part to achieve my goal. Thank you
@ Organic. I have a 5th edition Saunders book I have used it and wrote answer in it, I don't think that will help for intense study like that , or should I get another book. I will go and sign up for Kaplan I believed it will help me. Thank you

Take a month break
and the following month afterwards stick to ONE resources and just study review
Also, it will greatly help if you review your score report (not sure if they have one for pan, but we had it for nclex)
Best wishes!!
@laughlove. am still waiting for my official report from B O N, when I was doing NCBON questions on those ten question my score was 60-70 sometimes I will get all the answer right , the same thing with those 6 Qbanks , seriously this result was a shock to me, now I don't know where to start. am still waiting for my original result. Thank you for your advice.

Hey Victoria am sorry that you failed check your CPR focus more on your weak areas, I can not tell you how to study, you know yourself better, you know your learning styles, your weak areas, if you can also stick to a few resources that would be great, have you also thought of study partner? It's just a thought, above all look up God is all you need do your part and let Him take care of the rest.God bless
