Ok, that's good, you have more than the required hours of hospital experience since you graduated more than the 3 years of graduation.

I think you're confusing the LVN question with the CA BVPNT application. But are you going to want to practice your nursing license once you pass either the CA LVN in CA or work as an RN in Oregon, since you say you're currently living in WA? As either licenses in these two different states will not allow you to work in WA.

i want to pursue nursing in CA but they denied me so maybe ill try first the LVN-RN program after i pass the NCLEX PN, and about the oregon i still wanna try being RN in other state even if i dont plan to stay there coz im still hoping that someday their rules will change and be able to endorse it.. i dont wanna spend money again without any assurance that they will allow me to sit for NCLEX RN.. my husband is in military thats. why we move alot.. so theres still no guarantee what state are we gonna settle down.. :(

by the way do you know by chance what method should i use for application for LVN EXAM? thank you so much!

Use Method #3 for the LVN in CA. But it's been posted here that the CA BVNPT is just starting to look at the applications submitted in early FEB. 2013.

Why don't you just go for the state of WA? Yes, it's a known state with the concurrency rules, but they don't seem to be enforcing it at this present time and time is of the essence, as they can do so at any time. But there's been recent postings here of PH applicants getting their ATT and one recently passed the NCLEX-RN.

You never know your husband can be stationed in WA for 1-2-3 years and it will be so much easier to look for job with a WA license.

Hi, im a bsn graduate from the philippines batch 2009 and doesnt have an experience.. by any chance is it possible for BON of oregon to issue an eligibility to take the nclex rn? Pls help me. Thanks!

Do they require ielts and toefl upon applying?

Yes i did. They Found my school comparable here in the states. After that, i took the toelf, then they gave me an att. Will take the exam in october.

Did you read the earlier thread posted here about " you will be denied if you graduated more than 3 years ago AND you do not have a (hospital) experience or any nursing experience of some sort." The minimum required hospital time is 960 hours.

Don't forget getting a out of state license does not automatically guarantee an endorsement into another preferred state to work and practice in as you will have to reapply again as a first-time international applicants and pass all that state's requirements as if taking the NCLEX-RN exam all over again.

It's only possible that mikayjesther got the ATT as having graduated within the three year period or met the minimum 960 hospital experience hours if it was passed the three year limitation.

I just want to clarify. The 960 hours you were talking about, did you mean you have to have a Philippine license and that 960 hours was from a work experience as an RN in the Philippines?

I'm planning to apply for the Oregon State but i'm confused as to the hours you were talking about. I just graduated and im trying to see what other options i have , Thank you so much.

The 960 hours requirement is not applicable in your case since you're under the 3rd year of grad date.

The real question is what state do you plan to find a job the minute you pass the NCLEX-RN, where do you plan to settle down in? Don't include the enforcing concurrency states. If it's OR then, yes, go for it!
