nclex NYC

Hi, just want to ask, once the cgfns received all the my requirements from my school and validation from licensing center what will be the next step? how long it will take? I received an email from cgfns saying that they already received my papers from school but they're still waiting for the validation from licebsing center. Do NYC require IELTS? Thanks in advance.

I'm from the Phil as well. But I was out. Out. Of school for years and just now get back in getting my license. It's been awhile and I am freaking out. I haven't been studying for years and I am forgetting a LOT of things. It will be tough for me and I am just putting my trust and faith into the Lord.

Me too.. Stock knowledge lol.. I need to study harder..When are you going to take your exam? Hope for the best..Faith is really important.

Received an email from CGFNS saying they've received all my requirements and I also send Form 1 to NYED with the payment. Anyone knows what's the next thing? and how long will I wait for my ATT? thanks

Once NY get your form and report from CGFNS they will decide on eligibility and that can take between 1-2 months but can vary

I personally found Saunders a good book but check out the NCLEX forum under the student tab for more up to date info

I also graduated from the Philipines. I'm taking my NCLEX in June. But I've been out of school for 2 years and its a struggle to get back on studying. I waited for about a month and a half for the NYED to finish my application. I called call them to follow-up on my application. I called after 4 weeks of my 1st call they told me it was all set and I can apply to pearson. So I applied to Pearson Vue even before I got the letter in the mail. And I got my ATT 2 days later. Now I'm back to studying. I'm currently using Kaplan, Uworld, LaCharity and Saunders.

Well it took them about 8 months for them to send it to NYED but reason it took so long is because my school didn't send my credentials on time. By the time my school sent it was too late and the papers that CGFNS only had were the ones I sent but they still forwarded it to NYED. A month later NYED told me they didn't have my credentials and requested that my school send my credentials directly to them. After 2 weeks they received it and after a month and a half they gave me the go signal to register at pearson vue. But since CGFNS has your credentials I don't think it would take 8 months for you I think you'll have a shorter time wait. Just keep checking every month becaus it takes them awhile. You can also call them to follow-up on your order status.
