Hello everybody. I come to this website to calm down my nerves. I took the NCLEX-RN exam last August, I got all 265 questions (I answered the last 30 questions without reading them), I was super nervous. I did Kaplan (I was getting 50's in most of them with a few 60'), some chapters from PDA and Hurst). I got all types of questions, too many SATA, TOO MANY weird meds . It was a nightmare for me. After I found out that I have failed I felt miserable!! 98% of my classmates had passed. After that, I had many things in my personal life, so thats why I needed 8 months to re-take the exam. The second time I read like 80% Saunders, did some Kaplan Focused Reviews, like 200 questions from the QBANK, and I did the Readiness Test (65%) and I did QT4:70.7%, QT5:61%, QT6:67% and QT7:63%), I read a few chapters from PDA,HURST & Lippicotts (Alternate Format Questions), but I didnt complete them because I bought the 3 weeks NCSBN Learning Extension. I start reading the first 2 lessons, but my exam date was getting closer, and I felt I needed to do more practice questions, so I did the 1200 questions from their bank (Thanks GOD I did that). Their questions were hard and similar to the NCLEX. I scored in most of the tests 60-80%, few 50's, like 3 90% and one 100%. I read the 35 Study Guide one time, (read it at least 3 times) there is many important information in there.
Ok,so the day before the exam I felt soo overwhelmed I didnt have time to read all my notes, so I cried and pray, cry and pray.
My exam was scheduled for 2 pm, when I went to the testing center, its was raining, I got completely wet. I pray before my exam started, I got an easy question, but at the beginning I didnt have many SATA. Then, the situation changed, I started receiving too hard meds questions. I had 30 min left, and I was in the #190 I think, but I told my self "Read the questions, dont make the same mistake from last time", so thats what I did, I ran out of time in the 233. I got like 6 ECGs, 6 Exhibits, like 30 SATA, 2 pictures, 2 maths, 4 put in order many priorities, infections control and meds, many meds AGAIN!! I cried like 3 times during the exam, only took one quick bathroom break, but I pray many times.
I was crying on my way home. My mom and boyfriend were trying to calming down, but I felt so sad and frustrated!! Then, I decided to do the PVT like one hour after I got home and I got the good pop-up, I know I have to wait 24 hours after I took the exam, so I tried like 20 times, It has been more than 24 hours since I took the NCLEX and Im still getting the good pop up: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time. "
It's 4 am and I cant sleep, I cant wait to pay for the quick results!!! Please let me know if this PVT really works after the 24 hours!! Thank you!! I will keep you informed
