The questions will be changing, but the preparation for the exam will still be the same. If you are prepared well for the exam, then you will not even notice any changes. There will be an increase in a decimal point as to the passing level for the exam.
Remember that all that take this exam will get 50% correct and 50% incorrect. Whether or not that you pass is dependent on the level of questions that you are getting correct.
Patients in hospitals in the US have gotten sicker over the years as treatments change. Only the sicker ones stay in the hospital, others go home much sooner. So since the acuity of the patient population has increased, the nurse is responsible for more information and what to do with it.
And yes, the changes will appear next month.
yes i will retake it Lizzy...i have to request for new applications from my board of nursing..who i cant contact so i just contacted www.ncsbn.org..
i hope those changes are not drastic..and like you said suzanne maybe i wont even notice it..so still follow and still prepare for it the same way then..well not exactly the same way i did..i will really study my hardest this time..and i will follow ur plan suzanne..im gonna buy that book..i dont care if its gonna cost me but as they've said here in the forums..its all worth it..

Its already hard..they're gonna make it harder??? is this true?? i read and heard this somewhere...im gonna haveto re-take it after april.....
