Nclex Michigan

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody had taken the Nclex Rn in Michigan and failed three times what the steps are? I took the Nclex first in July than again in November and than again in February. How long do I have to wait to take another exam? And the 3 time in one year exam, does that mean I have to wait again until July to test again? Any help in regards to this is much appreciated as I am devastated that I have failed three times.

Thank You

Hey! you need to register on review course as soon you complete it such as (NCBSN,Kaplan,or Hurst) you have to fax the completion letter of the course to MI board. Then, it takes 2-3 weeks to get another year to take the board. There's no need to wait till July.

Hi,

I'm so sorry you failed but certainly do not let this bring you down. I know it is very hard to feel you are a failure but you aren't. You have come all this way, you will be a nurse! Most importantly, do as many practice questions as you can. Expose yourself to NCLEX-STYLE QUESTIONS. Cannot stress this enough. It is very possible you know the answer but find yourself failing because of your ability to test. Do you find yourself narrowing down 50/50? Or are you not confident with content? Determine why you feel that you are failing and start from there. The NCLEX is formatted in a way that you can always narrow down the answer to two selections and there are many strategies in being able to narrow it down. Sometimes, it can be as easy as a silly wording, such as never, always. Answers with these words will most likely never be the right answer!

You got this. Good luck :)
