I have a couple of review books. The medication sections in them might as well be a pharmacology book. I cannot possibly remember all of the medications. Does anyone have a list of medications to know? Some sort of help or guidance of where to focus my studying would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I need help in this area too, but I can't find the thread that has it. I searched under NCLEX meds...any ideas? :stone

NCLEX asks whatever meds it wants to! When I first started studying for some reason I assumed that it would focus on common meds like insulin, beta blockers, antibiotics, pain meds, heparin and so on.
I really didn't spend much time at all studying the meds; it just seemed like there was sooo much they could ask that I tried to remember the basics and just hoped for the best. I was lucky in that I only had a couple med questions. Some of the meds I was familiar with, others I didn't study/learn in school and only knew because of commercials and never dreamed it would be a NCLEX question, and one or two I flat out had no idea.
Just try to remember the basics and if you do get a med you are unsure of, stay calm and realize it's only one question, give it your best shot and move on.
I know it's frustrating but you'll be fine!! Good luck!
