Hello. Does anyone know if the medication questions on the NCLEX exam give both trade and generic names? I was under the impression that it did, but I had someone tell me today that it does not!!

Mine did unless it was most commonly used as a generic such as bacitracin/neomycin ointment instead of NeoSporin or acetaminophen instead of Tylenol
Awesome. Thank you! Do you have advise for a new grad getting ready to sit for NCLEX?
If you know your content, practice questions and review rationales. There a few free NCLEX prep apps for iOS. ( iPhone iPad etc). NCSBN has a free app for NCLEX drugs.
Look at your texts. Many text books have online resources with NCLEX prep classes. If you used workbooks/study guides with your texts, they often have good practice questions

Don't over study I studied all areas and my test was basic common knowledge such as prioritizing and education I had all 205 questions with only 1 math question. I studied every common disease there was and althought I passed my exam on the first try I think if I would have just stuck with doing questions daily I would have been fine
