hi to all!

i just would like to ask, if i have my license already as Registered Nurse as I passed the NCLEX-RN exam for the state of California and planning to endorse it in New York, the question is, if my license for California is already expiring which is within 3 years time that still I can not go to California because I'm from Philippines, if I'm going to endorse it in New York will the remaining time of my California License credited to New York. Or, after I endorsed my license in New York, will it have a new status which is another 3 years time of expiration. Hope you understand what my point is

hi we have the same problem:confused: but i already have my problems solved.:) i hired a center near PRC,inside St.Thomas Square.i endorse my license to the state of NEW YORK.I'm done with CVS too.I let them help me with all those application and now im waiting for my license..so far so good..so relaxing if u let someone do it for you.nyahaha :yeah:

how many months that passed already since you applied for the endorsement thank you

Hi.i have the same problem. May i know what is the name of the center you hired in the Phils.? how long did it take you to complete your endorsement? Please do let me know soon..i'm catching up time because there's only a year left from the issuance of my test results.. :confused:

Sir , i too wanted to endorse my results from California to new york... but i heard that it will still become a pending account since the board of nursing of new york requires one to present a License number... is this true?

Do you have a SSn and license issued by CA? if not then you can't endorse as you have no license to endorse. For NY you need to complete CVS and arrange with CA to forward your NCLEX results (small fee) and NY will decide whether to issue you a license and as long as you meet requirements they should issue one

No i dont have a SSN and a license...So it would mean it is impossible to even endorse just my NCLEX result to new york in order to obtain a NY license instead?

And thus making my only option VERMONT?

What you need to do is meet NY requirements which is the same regardless on a license or not for foreign trained nurses. You then arrange for a small fee for CA to forward your results to NY and they decide on whether to issue a license or not. As long as you meet requirements I see no reason why the NY BON wouldn't OK your application however they do have the final say.

Hi all. I got my nursing degree from the Philippines and currently have an active Arizona nursing license. I want to endorse it to NY BON. I looked up the forms and am confused on how to go about it. Since I came form a nursing school that is located outside the US, do I need to have my transcript evaluated by CGFNS with me having an active AZBN nursing license. Any thoughts on this please. I plan to move to NYC soon. Thank you so much.

You have to go through CVS even if endorsing your license because you trained outside the US. CVS can take up to 6 months and then the NY BON will make their decision based on what has been obtained. May be quicker than 6 months but a lot will depend on how timely they send for stuff and how quickly it is returned to them. You can't send anything to CGFNS for CVS however you can contact your school etc and ask them to send things back ASAP

Hi,I happened to read your message and we have the same problem.it was such a relief that you found the solution to your problem and with that in mind, could you help me too? i want to know the address, name and any contact details you may have about the center that helped you with the endorsement? I'm really clueless on how to do it so maybe it would be better if someone will just process that for me.
