i have been both reading and answering questions for the past 3 months while waiting for my ATT, and now i have mild anxiety. I have 3 days before my test, and i made sure it is on my second day off. My questions would be are:

1.) How do you get a sleep om the day before your exam? Pills? Exercise? Electroconvulsive therapy?

2.) Should I only bring my wallet? Or do we get a locker inside? Should i bring water and snacks?

3.) I get 80-90% on my med surg and maternity, but i only get 70% on pediatrics and mental health. Would i pass?

4.) How long does it take to get your license? Or your license number?

I am currently working 32hr/week in kaiser as a noc shift cna, and i can pretty much just change departments and salary. All they need is my license.

I moved your post to the NCLEX forum to ensure maximum responses. No one can predict if you will pass. Speed of licensure varies by state. And make sure you read the ATT and test center guidelines for what you must bring and what you shouldn't bring. Best of luck.

Hahaha. I cannot give any advice because mine is in 4 days, lol. But your comment has me dying... I too have wondered how the heck I am going to be able to fall asleep the day before, lol. Shock therapy seems promising... hahaha

yeah you get a locker and key, you can also bring snacks.

Here's a quick rundown:

Go in give them your ID

Let them scan your hand/fingers

Let them take your pic

Put your stuff in a locker

Let them scan your hand/fingers again

Get assigned a computer

Take a dumb 5 or 6 question training module that goes against your time and doesn't count on your score

Start your exam

End your exam

Take a boring survey

Leave and go party/do PVT/cry/work/whatever...

Good Luck!

If I remember right, you can't even bring water into the room with you, that would have to stay in your locker.

Thanks for the replies guys!! I live in california and what you said was very helpful. I went to the testing center earlier just to see where it was, and all i saw was just an office place. I didnt know it was that small.

Very smart to scope out the route! Now you know about how to get there and finding parking, which removes a little bit of stress. :)

That was the rationale of me doing it. Reduce the anxiety of the morning drive going there hahaha.
