  1. At this point I feel like I'm being pressured by everyone around me to drop out
  2. He just started a new job, so they are not willing to change his schedule sadly. And as far as the day care goes, he really has his mind set on the baby not going to daycare, because a lot of people in my area has had really bad things happen to their kids while in daycare . And even if he did agree to the daycare we couldn't afford it with all of the extra bills that we have. It just seems as if everything is going wrong for me at this point
  3. I need help. I'm considering dropping out of nursing school, and its not something that I want to do but something that I have to do. I have a 7 month old son , and I can't find anyone to watch him while I'm at school, and at clinicals. My boyfriends work hours conflict with my school hours, so there is a time period where we would have to find something to do with the baby. Plus we only have one car and my clincal sites are over a hour away from home. Moms out there, what did you do with your kids while in school, or while at work? Am I doing the right thing by dropping out? I know I will really regret it later. Please don't bash me in the comment section. I just came here for emotional support, not to be judged. Sorry this post is all over the place, and random.
  4. The Madela pump In Style is really good! Try to build up your breast milk stash before your 3 months is up, that way you can establish your supply, and you can have extra milk put up
  5. I decided to do online, I think that overall it would work better for me
  6. Good luck!
  7. I have the ability to choose if I wan to take Microbiology online or on campus, and I don't know what to do. I do really well with online classes, my high school was a computer based. If I go to campus I would have to find a babysitter for that day of the week. My question is for any who has taken Microbiology, do you think that it is too hard to take online, and if I do take it online do you have any advice?
  8. First of all I make good grades, and I pay my own tuition so if I don't like the class so be it.. that don't mean that I will be a bad nurse or that I shouldn't bea nurse, so besides what you think I'm gonna continue to hate these classes and continue on my path to be a nurse... so bye and have a blessed day
  9. Actually I have heard a lot of nurses say the the prereqs did not prepare them for nursing school. And not wanted to do the prereqs have nothing to do with being interested in being a nurse
  10. It's an associate's degree program. All the prerequisites are included. They have a 85% nclex pass rate & the tuition includes everything that you'll need for the program
  11. I sometimes question if I still want to be a nurse too because of the prerequisites. I understand your pain. What I've been doing with my class is studying everyday even if it's for 5 minutes. Literally every minute and say count. Hopefully we both can make it through this
  12. I am in A&P and sometimes I want to cry. I'm on the same chapter , we have a test on Saturday and I really don't know how I'm gonna pass. I have to study like 400 notes
  13. I'm looking into a school but it's 40k all together. Is that too expensive?
  14. Is 40k to much to spend on nursing school?
  15. Hi I live in Tampa Florida and I was just wondering if anyone attended Rasmussen and if their program is a good program and if they are accredited... sorry about the bad grammar
