NCLEX infection control question

Published

Many have said that infection control is a big part of NCLEX. For anyone who has already taken the test, do I need to spend a lot of time on knowing what type of precautions are necessary for which diseases?

I'd like to know this too!

If you have a day or two I would personally recommend Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment by LaCharity.

The questions on the book are tough, but it's an excellent review.

Thanks souleater11 but that doesn't answer my question. Tim, I have been using PDA but that still doesn't answer my question.

I took the NCLEX today. The answer is a huge YES. KNOW what souleater11 posted, taken from this study guide: https://allnurses.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8687&d=1310076980

i took the NCLEX today. had 75 questions but i can only remember like 2 or 3 about different precautions. better safe than sorry though since everyones test is different...
