The NCLEX was truly the hardest test ever in my whole entire life, it was like a test of no other and don't want to experience that horror ever again. However my first attempt I passed with only 80 questions in 1 hour. It's about confidence and knowing the strategy. Yes you need to know the content but honestly half the time I didn't even know what they were asking so I just used ABC and Maslow to answer. Basic principles and strategies allowed me to pass without a profound knowledge of medications, disease processes, and interventions. I just know that the NCLEX wanted too save each patient and keep them stable. I wish I would've took it earlier bc really all the content doesn't really matter if you don't understand the strategy.
