NCLEX before graduation?

Published

So I feel like this may be a stupid question, but I've heard rumor through my school that you can take the NCLEX before graduation as long as you've completed 4/5 semesters in TN. I am about to finish up my fourth semester and if this is an option I'd love to go ahead and give it a shot this summer. I've done some research online and can't seem to find anything definitive. I am in a BSN program if that helps. Thank you in advance!

I've never heard that before. I believe that you have to officially graduate before receiving your ATT for the NCLEX. I'd imagine it's the same for all states.

I'm actually in an accelerated NP program and we took our NCLEX after finishing our fourth semester, even though we are only awarded the BSN after completion of the fifth semester.
