NCLEX experience

Published

Hello Guys,

I am new here and would like to ask some of you guys who have experienced and pass this exam.

I took mine today and the first question I got was a basic knowledge that I have missed to study snd got it wrong. Anyhow as I have been clicking the exam on the first 30 questions at least, I know i have been getting some easy questions but when it got to around 30 ... i can tell the questions are harder. Harder meaning I haven't heard of some diseases popping up, lots of those priority and essential questions and I even got like 6 SATAs in a row. My questions stopped at 110. Honestly, I don't know if I did pass or fail it.

My questions are:

1. I feel that my first 30 questions were easy questions and I thought it will stop at 75 due to the feeling I might be in the lower level questions. Where do they usually count the score at the first set of questions or the last set until the computer stops.

2. I didn't do the research exam at the last. I'm so drained today. Does that count towards your exam. I wanted to do it but i felt like i failed my exam so what's the point of doing it.

Thanks for your feedback.

You will pass. Some people got some misconceptions though. When you’re getting an easy question, you’re failing? Don’t you think that you felt they were easier cos, you know them? Some other person might feel the same questions were hard cos, he didn’t have an idea about them.

The survey at the end contributes 0% towards your score, it’s just for research purposes and are randomly given to candidates, that’s why not everyone get it.

In my opinion, NCLEX-RN is one of the easiest exams I have taken in my nursing journey. And I did it in 75.

I wish you success!

Thank you. Really randomly given - wow. Fingers crossed hopefully to find out soon.

I took one today. You can do the registration check to see if you passed. Just reregister for the NCLEX again, but make sure you do it with a card that doesn't have 200 dollars as they state that they don't give refunds. I.E. Spent prepaid gift card. I have one you can use if you'd like, that I spent after Xmas so its bone dry, but will still work for this. If you aren't able to register you're good, if it attempts to take your money your not, and if it says it cant be processed at this time then your results havent been compiled. But usually 2 hours after the exam you should be able to do the trick, I did it in about 1, and a couple hours after that to make sure. It helps if your state doesn't have access to the early results. I admit the suspense was killing me, I was passing ATI and Lippencott tests in 90 questions or less, then this morning I went the distance...I suppose thats what I get for taking the NCLEX so long after I graduated. Everything that was in my "worse case scenario" in my nclex nightmare happened. I got a large amount of select all that apply felt like 40% and I got hammered mercilessly on OB, my kryptonite during school. But hey, at least if you know and find out you passed you can enjoy new years eve care free! ?

Thanks for that info. Are you talking about the PVT trick? I am too chicken for that lol and i don't have prepaid card ! I will just wait it out. I am from Canada.

I know you passed, just let me know when the result comes through. Happy new year ?

Didnt know there was a name for it. Lol. I suppose I just had to know before the new year ? Crossing my fingers for you!

I PASSED @ 110.

I really really and another really thought i failed. Goodluck to all !!!!!

Congratulations, I told you.

There were few people emailed me asking how did I prepare ... i would like to share what I have said.

Thanks. I have only used uworld and mosby as my reference book. I have learned lots from uworld from the questions. I didn't use lots of reference materials coz it will just overload you lots of information that hard to filter once you start answering the actual exam. I did 6 weeks total for 8 weeks time period. I took some break in between to reboot my brain. Good luck
