NCLEX Exam

Published

I just took my NCLEX exam today. I used almost all my 6 hours. I stop at 79 questions. This is my first time ever my test stop at 79.

Oh mh

No, it seems that may pass next time because my numbers are up stop at 79.

Not passing on your 15th attempt with just over the minimum number of questions does not mean you may pass next time. If you were close to passing you would have kept going, getting more and more questions until you proved competence.

The computer determined early in the process that you could not possibly pass the exam so it shut off. Taking nearly six hours, the time allowed for up to 265 questions for only 79 questions does not indicate you are doing better than the previous 14 attempts. If anything, you are doing worse, you are now taking excessive time to answer questions incorrectly.

Please, please, find another avenue in life. As many others have said many times, find something that makes you feel successful and happy and do it. Failing a competency exam 15 times can't possibly make you feel successful or happy. Let it go, for your sanity. Life's too short to keep beating yourself up and going nowhere.
