NCLEX eligibility question

So I understand that once the CPNE is passed, then you get to pay another $500 to Excelsior, so that they can "graduate you."

How soon can I get my final transcripts sent to the board? With my conferral date not being until December 17th, does that mean I have to wait until Christmas to take the NCLEX?

I am in Michigan if that helps...

I think in Michigan you do have to wait until the conferral date. I remember erinp88 going nuts waiting, and she's in Michigan.

The graduation fee is $490, and they'll knock $15 off that if you took Info Lit through EC (wow, that's mighty nice of them! LOL). Once you're processed for graduation (which can take up to 4 weeks), they'll let you pay the grad fee.

I was under the impression that she had extenuating circumstances that prevented her from taking it.

I really hope I don't have to wait. I could call the BON I guess and get a straight answer.

Just consider any delay in processing to be extra time to study.

i completed the cpne august 15 and will graduate next friday...already paid for nclex through pearson, and in missouri, you have to graduate before you sit for boards. i've heard of people getting their att as quickly as 1 week after their conferral date, and others waiting 2-4 weeks. i don't know which to hope for, i wanna get boards over with, but i'm not ready yet!

Good luck jules!
