Nursing Students NCLEX

so here's my story..applied for the nclex last year started around march 2012 got my eligibility august 2012, ATT october 2012 and took the exam on december 2012.. I failed the exam was going to reapply after i got my results but didn't get the chance coz there were a lot of things way important than the reapplication..so my question is, can I still reapply for the exam? it's been a year since I got my eligibility. I've read somewhere that eligibility is only valid for a year...will I need to start from scratch again? like my cgfns CES application all those requirement or just proceed to pay the reapplication fee? I have know idea how it is..do i need to submit new papers to the board? i've been researching but nothing seems to answer my question... It would be a bummer if I have to submit a new cgfns ces report it cost a lot of money.

FYI: I'm a foreign educated applicant.

Hi,

I am also a foreign graduate nurse from India. Definitely you have to reapply for the examination. If you are applying for same board, then no need for reevalution of CES report. Because CES report is valid for 3 years and you got eligibility. But if you apply for another board, then you have to go for credential evaluation. And in case of Texas board of nursing,Texas board does not allow 1 year old license verification. so If you apply for Texas board, credential evaluation is necessary for VOL. And check with your BON once, regarding the requirements of reapplying for examination. Requirements vary with BON. From which board you are appearing for the exam?

I inintially applied for florida board and got eligibility, took the exam, but lost. then i repplied(just sent an application and my finger prints.) I did not got through CES again. and took the exam again.
