Applying for lapsed license in CA

I let my RN license lapse and have to retake the NCLEX. It says on their web sight that it takes 4-6 weeks, then after they receive the application, they send you back a little card that says "do not call before 60 days." It is going on the 6th week. Has anyone one else experienced this? What I'm beginning to think is that that haven't even started on my application and I will end up having to call on the 60th day to find they haven't gotten to it yet and having to take more time to review it.

I have been studying quite a while to retake the NCLEX, paid my fees, got all my paperwork and I'm getting a little impatient. I am thinking it shouldn't take that long since I have already been licensed here, not like a new grad having to get all their school records, etc.

Any info would be appreciated.
