NCLEX in 4 days, feel like I'm gonna fail

Hi everyone!

My NCLEX is on Jan 22 at 2pm, and I'm feeling like I'm gonna die right here right now. I've been using lacharity, heyrona notes, and another study guide my friend used, along with UWorld. I'm just feeling REALLY defeated right now. I'm only in the 42nd percentile with about half and half right and wrong (mostly wrong) with only approximately 600 questions done.

I took the two self assessment tests and the first time I got a high probability of passing, and the second one I took Just Now I got a very high passing, but I have to admit that I looked up some questions because I'm honestly SO ANXIOUS RIGHT NOW because even though I got most questions correct through honesty, towards the end of the 75 questions I got the majority of questions wrong [as pictured] and I know that if that were an actual NCLEX I would've failed.

I just really need some reassurance that I'm going to pass cause I can't disappoint my parents and I can't disappoint myself or my school cause the last two classes who graduated got a 100% NCLEX pass rate and I don't wanna be the dumb fool who fails and destroys the pass rate.

Is it too late to reschedule? It sounds like you may need more time.

If you look closely at the assessments, you will see that they put the questions in order from least to most difficult. You can see this by looking at the "% of others who got correct". So, naturally, they are going to get harder and people will miss more toward the end.

But the point of those assessments is to do them as you will be doing the NCLEX -- that is, on your own, with no other tools available to you. Ideally simulating the NCLEX environment, as well, with no distractions.

So, as you already know, you can't rely on their predictions if you looked things up.

I know what you want is for someone to make you feel better right now ~ but that confidence has to come from within. Do you feel well-prepared? Have you been able to do all you wanted to do with UWorld? If not, perhaps you need to push it back so that you can have a moment to breathe and refocus.

Otherwise, you go in and do your best. And you realize that it is not the end of the world if you fail. People fail every day. A large part of dealing with the anxiety is getting your head in the right place.

Mine is also on January 22nd, but at 0800. I was originally signed up for February 7th, but something sooner opened, so I took it. Now I'm beginning to wonder if I jumped the gun. I do want to be done with the stress and anxiety, but I don't know if I am fully prepared. Will we every be fully prepared?

Hurst review has been helpful but when I was rewatching the videos I felt so unmotivated and felt like I was wasting my time because "I already know this stuff.." I'm at the point with practice questions that they are starting to pop up again, so I don't have to use a single brain cell to answer them.

Hopefully we can focus on studying for the next 3 days (rather than scour AllNurses for NCLEX help....guilty!) and show that NCLEX who's boss!

From one future RN to another, best of luck!

You will be fine. Let go of the feelings and just remind yourself that you are going to be a RN. never ever give up!!!! ready my story and be inspired. ?

Took my NCLEX-RN today! I stopped at 75 got 28 SATA, 3 ordering, 2 priority, 1 delegation. I’m feeling confident. Thought it was straightforward. I didn’t do the Pearson View Trick. Just gonna wait it out. ☺️I used UWORLD to study with 1300 questions left in the bank.
