Hi everyone, first post, just really anxious about something at the moment, and I think I've done something very stupid.
After waiting 2 1/2 long months for the NJ BON to finally give me my ATT, I scheduled my exam for 3 weeks after getting my ATT, for August 30th. When I registered online, it said it was open for 2 AM. I went to this location the week before at this time, building was open, lights on, everything. So I went up there today to take the test, and the testing center door wasn't open. While waiting, I looked through all of my emails, and saw a confirmation letter saying that it was scheduled for an "overnight" time, and to check and see if the center is open at that time. So I'm guessing maybe the "Pearson Testing Center" is not open at 2 AM, just the building is.
I tried to call Pearson, but they won't open until 7 AM, and I'm really nervous that I messed something up terribly. If I call them in the morning, do you think they'll let me reschedule because of this slot I was registered for? I really can't keep waiting, and I don't have $200 (and won't for a long time) if I have to pay again. Anyone know about a situation like this? Thanks a lot.

My ATT says the following on the back page: "If you fail to keep your appointment or do not re-schedule or unschedule your appointment at least 24 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment, you will forfeit your exam fee and your ATT will be invalidated. You will be required to reregister and repay the examination fee. There are no exceptions for any reason..."
I am so sorry. I would definitely call them and tell them what happened that they had an exam scheduled for that time and date and the place was not open.
Thanks, I just can't believe this happened... I'm the only one from my school who isn't an RN yet, do I have to REAPPLY with the BON again too? With NJ, it took them almost 3 months, I can't keep going through this. This is just so mentally taxing. I worked so hard and even graduated with honors, on the Dean's List, and I feel like I have absolutely nothing to show for it. At this point, I would've been better off with my graphic design major...
I have no idea on the reapplying to the BON. It says the ATT is invalid, so you do need another one. If it makes you feel any better, I am the only one that I know of that's not a nurse yet in my class. We'll be nurses soon though. Good luck!

I too am the only one who's isn't an RN yet. But we can do this! God bless and good luck. Hope everything ends well.
Are you sure it's not going from Aug 30 to 31 at 2 am? The reason I ask is because Pearson Vue gives the times and you pick one. I find it odd they would give a time that they are not open.
I have some good news on my behalf (because I didn't stop obsessing over it last night after it happened haha)
I showed up at 7:30 AM because I knew that's when the doors opened for the next test takers, and I explained my situation to the lady there. She said they came there "AT" 2 AM, and they saw I wasn't there. But I pointed out that the test was at 2 AM, it instructions said to arrive 30 minutes early (1:30 AM), and I stayed there till about 1:55 and left, because that building was DEAD. Really, anyone would've been discouraged if they saw absolutely no one in the building by 1:55 (not to mention she should have been there before 2). Mind you I signed up to take this test in another state because my state was so backed up. Mini-rant aside...
There were 10 spots for 8 AM, and she said only 9 people were here, so she let me do the test then. I'm so glad I went back up there. Test stopped at 75 questions... I'm really hoping it was the GOOD 75 question stopping...

Congrats! Can't believe there's a 2am time slot to take the test. My brain probably sleeping that time.
Thanks! I spent the whole 2 weeks adjusting my sleep schedule for that time, that's probably why I was so bent out of shape about it haha
The day seems to REALLY be dragging, I can't wait those 48 hours! I did the Pearson Vue trick, and I got the "good pop-up", which gets me pretty excited, but I know it's not confirmed... but it definitely relieved my anxiety a bit. Good luck to everyone else here waiting to take their exams! I'll update everyone on the official results, hope you hear you guys' results soon too :)
Just updating everyone, got my grade in today, I passed!!!
