Was just wandering if anyone could help.

My story so far.

I am trying to go it alone without a UK agency into Florida.

Application to Vermont for licence sent with transcrips and $150

Application to sit NCLEX approved

Registered with Pearsonvue and paid $200

Just waiting for (ATT) should be here within three weeks. Then hope to sit NCLEX in London

Today paid $325 application for visascreen with CGFNS

have completed application online and they say I how have to send university transcrips, college of further education transcips and proof of NMC registation (in a sealed envelope with university stamp on seal)

Do I have to do this as vermont have already had this info?

How long ago did you actually pass both exams? In the past it has taken at least four months to get your Certificate after you have completed the last exam.

I know absolutely nothing about the Alaska BON and how they operate.

Have you actually phoned CGFNS and spoken to a human to try and get everything cleared up? This would be my next recommendation.

There is absolutely no reason that you could not go the direct hire route.

I have passed the second exam- IELTS last year in December. I am waiting for

visa screen sertificate for about 7 months. What should I do to speed the document?

Can I get in USA without contract with recruitment company?

Please advise me how to manage my problems?

Do you know for a fact that those scores were actually sent to CGFNS? I would definitely suggest that you take the time and phone them and see exactly what they are missing from your file. Usually it takes about four months once everything is complete to receive the VSC.

In oeder to go to the US, you will need a visa and the easiest one to get is a green card that will give you permanent residency. You will need to have a petition filed on your behalf either by an agency or a hospital. It is not something that you can do on your own.

UPDATE

Have had my ATT going to book NCLEX online today.

All documents went yesterday to CGFNS to appy for visa screen.

I could not believe I had to send £36 to NMC to prove registration. I even sent them a pre paid airmail envelope and form filled out all they had to do was sign stamp and put in envelope.

So I can go on holday today to France knowing everything is in hand.

I must remember to pack my Kaplan books still loads of studying to do!!!! :rolleyes:
