Hi all!
I recently passed my NCLEX - RN (California), and it was clearly stated they will destroy your file three years after, if you don't supply them SSN. Can somebody please give me an advice on what to do with my NCLEX results? You still need to have SSN even if you already have a visascreen, is that right? thanks guys.

do u know how long did it take to get ur pass letter.. do they put your name at the BON site if u passed even when you dont have an SSN..??
CA will not issue a license without a SSN therefore you will not see your name on the BRN website

NCLEX california - what to do to keep your file active if you dont have SSN yet.

hi all.
I recently passed my NCLEX - RN (California), and it was clearly stated they will destroy your file three years after, if you don't supply them SSN. Can somebody please give me an advice on what to do with my NCLEX results?i m on h4 visa now ,is there anyway to get H1B visa in this period? You still need to have SSN even if you already have a visascreen, is that right?or if i will start studying m.sc nursing and get F1 visa ..is that provide SSN will be enough for the CA boards to issue me a license ?is this kind of SSN will be valid for them or it has restrictions too ?i m freaking out .please someone guide me what can i do further?
Did you try reading the "Must Read International Topics"? There's a ton of information there. Also if you do a search on H1b and H4 visas you will find more information right up your alley. Good Luck
hi
i m not getting much of it especially i f i opt for f1,i will definitely search more.
thanks
You do not need SSN for vsc but getting a H1b may be an issue due to the high number of RN's looking for work especially in CA. F1 will not get you a SSN unless you get permission to work (as far as I am aware) and even if you are on F1 there is no guarantee the first year you can work in a hospital as F1 usually has restrictions in the first year plus you may find it cheaper to go to school on H4 than F1
thanks for the reply ,it means that i have not even a single option to do anything ,i m helpless.if i study it wont help ,then just to raise my qualification which of the specialities you recommend me to do,?
