NCLEX: Authorization to test.....how long did it take? advice!

got a few questions for everyone! it would help me make some huge decisions if i could get a lil feed back :)

graduating in one state in june, moving back home to california, possibly in the same month, and trying to decided what steps to take to get licensed in california as expeditiously as possible!(should i test in my home state for ca? wait it out and see what happens with the ca bon? should i take my nclex for my home state {fast processing!} and endorse to ca?)

how long did it take for you to get your authorization to test for the nclex rn after graduating?

did you use livescan or paper fingerprints? (if required in your state)

did you test in your home state, or another state?

how long ago was it?

any info on temporary licenses, fingerprinting or anything at all..... and i'm sure you'll get good karma back for your help! ;)

cheers and thanks!

i myself is an international graduate who just got her att, my advice to u is to just take it from your home state much easy and less hassle.

you can always apply for reciprocity if you decide to work in california anyways.... =)
