I used uWorld. It sounds like you are using it correctly if you are reading the rationales. Just take a deep breath and make sure you're not letting your anxiety stop you from absorbing the material! If it is, take a step back and do something enjoyable, then go back to it. If you have any questions, I'm here to help! I just took mine yesterday.
Hi! My test... I don't even know what to say about it, ahaha. My heart was pounding through my ears and my leg went stiff for like 20 minutes and I tried really hard to ignore those to focus on the questions. They were mostly leadership and management. Lots of SATA, three EKG strips, one ordering, no math. Ended at 75 on a question I definitely knew I got correct.
I have about 200 or so questions left on my uWorld, but based on the recommendation of my friend I made sure to finish the leadership and management section in their own mini tests. I'm super glad I did because I said on another post that people overlook that and try to overload on med surg and medications.
Speaking of medication... I'm VERY glad I knew all of mine. They were very basic.
The NCLEX is not so bad and I'm glad I listened to my classmates who reassured me. I've scoured this website reading various stories and scared myself the last few nights.
the case study at the end was experimental. I *was* going to do it, then the proctor was like, "this is optional." decided I'd rather leave right then and there, finished the survey, and was on my way out.
they're not implementing those types of questions until March 2019, I think.
