Nclex anxiety

Published

I'm taking the Nclex in a couple days and my anxiety is through the roof. I have always struggled taking tests throughout nursing school. I took Kaplan a couple of weeks ago and have been doing questions non stop since. my % are in the mid 50s What are my chances of passing the first time? I just want to pass soooo bad. I wasnt the top student in school because I had to work, so I feel that I'm not strong with my content. I just need some positive words of encouragement to calm myself down.

I know many people who have passed and had q trainer scores in the 50's. Stay calm, take your time on the first 75 questions. Good luck

Thank you so much for raising my confidence.

I believe you can pass. I heard someone say that content is important for NCLEX (obviously) but the other 50% is attitude. So, I am keeping that in mind because I take my exam in two weeks. Just keep in mind that you WILL face questions that you never thought of and difficult... but when you do, relax, and use the content you have and even if you don't know the answer breathe and approach with security,... keeping this in mind and going to the next question... and also don't freak out if the exam doesn't stop at 75, keep trying, take breaks. NCLEX doesn't expect you to know 50% of their exam... so try to keep the positive attitude...

Thank you. I will let you know how I do! :)

We are in the same boat, I am taking it in 3 days and I'm super nervous...I reviewed so much and at this point I just want to stop studying(been studying for over 5 months) and get this thing over with

I can relate, I can make myself sick just thinking about huge exams. Stay calm and positive! Just remember you have what it takes for this exam and you will overcome it! Good luck

Same here! be taking mine 5 days from now!!! God bless!! Stay positive and be confident!! :)

good look to us all...we will overcome the nclex monster

How'd it go ?!
