I am :-) The waiting is terrible! I know they said July 1st, but I was really hoping the letters would come sooner. I'm hopeful everytime I get my mail.

They never should have told us it could be the last part of June, I've been stalking the mailman all week!!!

I have been stalking the mailman too. I had high hopes for today, but no letter :-( Fingers crossed for Monday!

Same here, I was just sure today would be the day! Darn it! Is NCCC the only program you applied to?

I also applied to JCCC's LPN program and was accepted, but I really love Neosho's bi-level program!! What about you, are you waiting on any other schools?

I only applied to NCCC, I really like that school and it is close to where I live. I was on the alternate list last year but my TEAS score wasn't great and I still had to take micro. I have finished all of my pre-reqs and scored much higher on the TEAS this year so I am hoping my chances are better. If I don't get accepted this year I may have to think about applying to other schools.

I didn't do as well on the TEAS as I would have liked. I scored a composite score of a 87%. At first I thought that was pretty good, but the more people I talked to seemed like they scored in the 90's. I'm taking Micro now, so I don't get the points for it, but at least I have it done if I do get in. I have everything else. I know my chances might not be that good, but I am really hoping I make the cut!! Surely we will have a letter tomorrow :-)

I think that your score sounds pretty good, I scored a 91% this year and my classes are done. Last year a friend of mine got in with an 84% and she was doing micro in the summer, her letter said she was an alternate but that was just because she was currently taking micro. Then as soon as she finished they called her and she got in. Hopefully you and I get our ACCEPTANCE (wishful thinking) today! Good luck to you!

My mail came....no letter for me today :-(

Same here! Hopefully tomorrow!

I also applied at NCCC-Ottawa. I've been stalking the mailbox as well! I have all the pre-reqs done and scored a 91 composite on the TEAS. I know of 8 people that scored 90+. The vast majority of people I talked to scored 70 or below, so I think you should be fine with an 87. You won't get the points for taking Micro this summer but your test score is definitely competitive. I do know they received roughly 210 applicants this year. I will let you know when the letter arrives!

I am so glad I saw this thread! I'm applying to NCCC Ottawa during the next application cycle.

I was wondering if someone could answer a question regarding the application process. I noticed that a couple of you mentioned not getting points for a class taken the summer after applying, would you have received the points if you had taken that class during the spring (even though the application is due before the end of the semester)?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer my question. Good luck to you all!
