Has anyone been accepted to Ncc's nursing program. If so, how hard is it, and are you able to work while in the program?
Hi all!
I took a while before i wrote on here because i didn't know if i wanted to yet. I have a previous BA in Interdisplinary studies with a meh GPA but i have most of the co reqs done with the exception of med micro(that was held for mortuary science majors boo!). i got a 68 on the TEAS which is PROFICIENT and the lady told me it was "very good" O_o LOL and a 4.0 on all the pre reqs. I am also part of Phi Theta Kappa Honor society. since my teas score is okay and my prior degree GPA is subpar, I'm nervous!!! plus i live in queens. the lady did say the more co reqs you had done and other classes you had the better. Good luck to everyone! I'm stalking my mailbox!
SO....since next week is spring break and they said we would find out the middle of april, will that be AFTER next week or during? haha I've been a nervous wreck for 3 weeks now!
my gpa at Nassau is a 4.0, but I'm using a class from my other four year degree for one of the pre reqs so it bumps me down to a 3.8, I also am in phi theta kappa and on the deans list. I scored in the advanced group on the teas exam, I'm still nervous too! There's only 32 seats for the night classes. This wait is tough
Hi all,
I am also waiting to hear from them, I am dying to know! I have taken all other classes necessary for the program, except the nursing classes obviously. I am in the middle of Medical Microbiology but I will be done in May. Does anyone know if they still take into consideration if you live in Nassau?
Good luck to all!
