NCC Nassau community college Fall 2022 applicants

Published

Hi just wanted to start a group for people applying for nursing in Nassau community college fall 2022

I wonder how school admins handle email and admission logistics. do they admins these days send out acceptance or rejection emails in bulk? is there a data management system they use to track application? or do they track application and send out emails manually? (refreshing my inbox while thinking random stuff)

They’re supposed to send out a rejection email but last semester they didn’t send me anything and I ended up emailing them for a decision letter a days or two after the acceptance letters were sent out. Someone will probably say something once acceptance letters are out and u can expect a rejection letter by the next day. If u don’t get anything, email them or call them two days later just in case u did get accepted and they messed up the emails.

Gotcha! Thanks for the info.

Nothing here either. Would our NCC portal change before we get a letter if we are accepted? Nothing on that end either but I also don't have high hopes. Gave it a shot but planning for re-applying for Spring.

has anyone tried to email or call the department?

I thought I would wait until Monday.

fall registration starts on Monday, so I was hoping to get the results before that.

Did anyone look at their degree evaluation under the "student academic" portion of the portal? My major says Nursing-Day, but is that just because I applied for that to be my major? I have no idea what it said before - it's the first time I looked at it

Mine still shows as liberal art

I just looked under the degree evaluation and my unofficial transcripts and I went from a “non-degree student” to “Nursing-Day”
