NC1 Study Group

I am looking to start an NC1 study group. Not setting up a formal chat time (would consider if enough interest) but rather a specific thread where those studying for NC1 can exchange questions, study helps, etc.

If you are interested and have a specific NC1 question, please feel free to join in.

Note: If you have questions about Excelsior College or the program in general, please start a new thread and keep this one for those already studying for NC1.

Please be mindful of EC guidelines when posting.

I would love to be included in the threads!

I am using a Rue study guide I bought on ebay. I also have the required textbooks per Excelsior.

I have just started studying for NC 1, I am also studying other general education courses.

Glad to have you! Did you schedule your test for NC1?

What other gen ed's are you currently working on?

All right girl, let's get this party started :wink2:

For NC 1. Literally just started that one. I am studying Intro to Sociology and Intro to Psychology. I will be clepping both in January. I am enrolled at Colby Community College (EDUKAN.org) for Anatomy and Physiology I for 4 credits (3 for theory, 1 for lab) for Spring 1 semester (Jan - May). I will take Anatomy and Physiology II for 4 credits summer 1 semester (May - Aug).

I will take Excelsior exam for Developmental Psychology most likely in Feb or March. I have a descent plan for me. I will be busy!

Busy is right!

Check back often with NC1 questions and/or information which may be useful for the rest of us working on NC1.

Maybe we could use the allnurses chat room for this. What do you all think?

Sounds like a good idea do we need approval from any moderators, etc.?

You are certainly making great headway!

A suggestion to meet in the chat room was brought up. What do you think? I see you are on the west coast and a few of us are on the east coast so time difference should be taken into account. Maybe meet once and see how is goes? Any suggestions for a date??

What about 9am which is 6am my time. How about the weekends or any evening during the week is fine with me. Since its more East Coasters I will flow with you guys. So give me a time, I will do the math when I should be logged on :)
