Hello Im going to graduate may 2017 and I have recently started the NCP application process. There arent a whole lot of forums or information out there and was wondering if I could calm my nerves and update myself on any news and info. There was a forum that I have read that states this applicants selected are first come first serve basis. I know that I m submitting my application by the end of September this year, but I'm not going to lie....I was discouraged after reading that and especially since there are many that have started and already finished their apps a year ago.

Have you heard anything yet? I also applied for the FY2017 NCP and my recruiter said I should hear something in October.. I'm anxiously waiting as I have yet to hear anything. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard whether or not they've been accepted

I'm anxiously waiting as well. I haven't heard yet but I know last year some people found out the first week of November. So that's when I'm telling myself ill find out. I'm hoping sooner though! I'm not sure when the board meets exactly. Good luck to you!

I spoke to my recruiter yesterday and he said that board is ongoing still and he anticipates to hear within the middle to end of November! I was hoping it would be much sooner because the anticipation is killing me.. Good luck to you as well! :)

I also applied for the FY 2017 and this wait is the worst thing ever. The anticipation is terrible. I just want to know already.

Good afternoon everyone!

Ive been reading NCP forums from 2013 on. I was about to create one and luckily ran into this one. I applied for the NCP and have no idea when the results are coming out, I dont want to bug my recruiter with question over and over (Already did that filling the application). In turn, I tried to find some answers in allnurses forums. The closest information I found (not 100% certain) is this website that may or may not be talking about the release of the results. It appears the board will convene December 3rd unless anyone has some other info provided by from your recruiters.

Im prior Navy and its a life long dream to be an Officer in the Navy, I am completely biased to military life. It is not for everyone but everyone smart enough would benefit from it. I plan to stay until i cant stay no longer. I guess what im trying to say that I am exploding with excitement over the results (optimist) and its hard to wait and wait and wait.... In the meantime, I am focusing on my first semester in Nursing school and its going great. Hoping for the best! Honor, Courage, Commitment

From what my recruiter has told me the board has already met and we should be hearing something anytime now. At the latest the end of November

Hey guys. I have been following too. I submitted my package over the summer and am now waiting. I also don't want to bother my recruiter. I think so far there are only a few of us on here. I wish you both the best. Waiting is the worst.

My recruiter indicated to me that the board has already sat and decided, but they have more paperwork etc to do before they can release the results. That's my understanding anyway. ;-) Good luck!
