I was wondering if anyone has heard anything from the Navy Nursing Boards? I sent my package to the boards at the end of August and I am still waiting. I am starting to get nervous. I am applying for the 2010 fiscal year so I dont know if they wait to start reviewing until after October 1.
I am getting bit tired of waiting. I have submitted my application beginning of August for the new FY and my recruiter keeps telling me that I should hear something soon. Whenever I call my recruiter every few weeks he keeps telling me that I should hear back something soon and that is it...I have been searching everywhere to find out more about this whole process but am not finding much information about it...
Anybody know more about why it's taking so long and how long is the "normal" wait time to hear something back?
Starburst, I put my app in the beggining of august as well and found out a few weeks ago. I was applying for the NCP since I dont graduate till Apr 10. I am assuming that you are direct Commision, my recruiter told me that they already have over 100 applicants for that and only have 65 spots so I dont know if that was what is taking so much time or not. He also told me there was a website he could go to and find out when my kit was going to the board. He did that and told me when I was being reviewed and then about 4 days later I found out I was accepted.
I am really bummed, I was always told to contact the recruiters 6 months before graduation...I graduate June 20, 2010 and now it seems like I will not be able to get in till fy 2011. Ugh.....I just really want back in, I did 10 yrs enlisted, recruiter said to call back after I pass the NCLEX (which I took today).
