Naturalpathic nurse?

Published

I will be starting a 4 year BSN program at Conestoga/Mcmaster. I wanted to find out about specializing in naturalpathic/women's health. Is there a master's program? Any ideas? I would like to practice in Ontario or BC. Any info would be greatly appreciated. :) :)

There is no 'naturopathic' nursing specialty per se. I know of nurses who went on to study naturopathy and/or homeopathy after obtaining their RN but there is no formal nursing program in this area. You will no doubt be learning about alternative health in your program. As for women's health, your options are greater. Once you get to Mac you will be able to see exactly the kind of Masters programs for nurses they offer.

Thanks lalaxton...I appreciate the info. You've been helpful
