I have onserved that E and I distinction seems to be very misundertood. It seems that many assumt that Introverted means shy and not outgoing and that E would refer to someone who is very outgoing and social. What it really means though is how you direct your energy? Inward out out? When you need to recharge you batteries do you prefer to be around many people such as a Rock concert or party? Or do you prefer to recharge your batteries by spending some time alone or with one or a few close friends? Do you prefer one on one interactions and can share yourself and be more espressive OR do you prefer large group interactions? Do you tend to have a few close friends OR you socialise with many aquaintances? I just noticed that I hear alot of people saying in some situations I am an E but sometimes I'm and I. Of course there are various strengths of preferences so it's not that simple. Just thought I'd try to clear that one up. The other thing I feel may be a factor in answering the questions about I or E is that it is possible that there may be a cultural bias toward answering in favour of E rather than I and therefore may not be entirely accurate. This can create some confusion of what you truly are. Hope this helps.

If you're confused maybe this can help. For example...as an INFP (introverted, intuitive,feeling, peceiving) I would be more suited to work in mental health, public health or oncology. I would not work out so well in the ER, OR or medical surgical. I knew all this but the description just makes me more confident that my intuition about myself was probably right on. Ok so you are in Toronto..just to let you know that if you are willing to go to school in Kitchener then you could get into the BSN program (your degree would be from McMaster). You only need to have some credits from university (I'm not sure how many exactly) with a B average. They don't require any specific courses. You may want to Check Conestoga college or Mohawk college ( I think that's in London and offers the exact same program thre Mcmaster). These programs are still open for this coming fall. I am not sure if this helps you out at all but I thought I'd share that with you.

Lys, Congrats on your new job in Vancouver! I have been thinking seriously of going to Vancouver or Victoria when I'm done because I love the west coast so much. I lived there for a few years. I can't see staying in the KW area forever. The air quality is terrible around here (I'm from Northern Ontario) and it just does not compare to BC or the Northas far as natural beauty. Yes, one of the main reasons I chose to go into nursing is because of the many options and I LOVE that! I can totally see myself trying different areas. I don't know alot about jobs for new grads but from what I have seen in ads and such is that Vancouver seems to offer great training. Have you spent any time in Vancouver? You'll enjoy living there I'm sure. Thanks for answering my questions :)
