National University SD Cohort 57 - Jan 2019

Hi all!

My name is Claire and I am going to be applying for my last chance to get into the NU ABSN program in San Diego. I've attempted two times previously and have been denied. First time I believe I missed the cut off by a point or two so I improved my TEAS and essay then applied again and was denied by 3/4 of a point which was pretty devastating but I wasn't going to give up. I went and retook Micro because that was my only C and got an A so now I'm going in with an 89% TEAS, 3.75/5 on the essay and I think a 3.75. I missed the this more recent cohort 56 cutoff but I plan to apply to the next one in July and hopefully raise my TEAS and essay. I'm just so nervous because this is my last chance! I've basically disqualified myself from other institutions because I took the TEAS too many times and some of my prereq's are expired according to other colleges. This is literally my dream and I won't give up! Any one else applying and can share the pain lol :)

Just saw the update to call for scores :)

In the email just sent it says to check your application for scores, does anyone know how to access that?

You go to the nursing application and you'll see the update.

I saw that I was accepted but it did not have scores to see where you placed. I contacted the nursing department and am waiting for a call back. :)

Hey guys, so excited I'm an alternate! Call nursing dept. for scores, I JUST missed the acceptance cutoff as my points came out to 85.1.

Has anyone tried to register for the Spanish340A course? I don't see it as being offered and I was told it was online? Also, does anyone want to start a facebook page for our cohort?

I had to reapply for the bachelors program, I checked and I saw they were in class in South bay, November and December. One of the co requisites started last week. I can't remember which were which.

That's what I see also. I'll have to touch base with my advisor and see what options are available
