National University SD Cohort 39

Published

Hello, Im creating a thread for those who are applying to National University SD cohort 39 starting july 2014. I figured we can all post our experience through this process of applying.

I think our advisors give generic information. I personally am going to go with what JJ told me at the essay/test date and that is that we will find out in 2/3 weeks. That means we should find out this week sometime.

This has to do with us in the sense that this NU advisor is agreeing that the process is being sped up for scheduling TEAS/ESSAY exams, but that National is "sticking" with the 3-4 month waiting period to be notified of acceptance or not.

Basically his email means that they are trying to speed up the process, but no guarantee. He said previous cohorts didn't find out their acceptance status until the following cohort closed (meaning the people who were denied didn't find out in time to apply to the very next cohort).

I really hope we find out this week or next week. I've been calling JJ and the nursing department all day and no response

Kris did JJ ever email you back? I thought you email JJ last week.

No, never received an email back from him

Have no fear, the decision is near. :) Cohort 38 found out 7 weeks after testing if that helps. I am sure their office is busy with test scores and will answer everyone when they have answer to give.

Well, I am definitely learning patience...

Application status is posted on the portal. I'm an alternate which mean I have to wait even longer to find out.

My portal still says "Submitted" :(

mine says submitted as well

But you should be happy about an alternate!! Im pretty sure majority of the alternates make it into the program. Good Job!! you'll get int!
