National University - San Diego - October 2014 cohort

Hi everyone,

I've applied for the October 2014 cohort at National University in San Diego. I am still waiting to be assigned a test date, but I decided to take the TEAS at SDSU this week. Has anyone else taken it yet? How did you do? I feel pretty confident with my score and GPA but still need to take the essay portion. Looking forward to connecting with other future classmates!

Hi, I applied for that cohort as well. I have taken the TEAS 3 times at SDSU and I must say i did not do good.

Hi jschaffer84, I'm sorry to hear that! Are you planning on taking it again at National? I have my essay scheduled for tomorrow, June 18th. I'm a bit nervous but ready to have this process over!

Hope you both did well on the TEAS and the essay. I took both on June 30th and am waiting for my essay results.

I applied to the October Cohort for Los Angeles and am waiting for a reply too. Hoping this Sat?! mapplegate1108 Congrats!! How long did it take them to get back to you from your testing dates? I took my TEAS and test on the last date which was July 26 I'm hoping it won't take them until the very last week of August to tell us but I know they have always been later than they expect.

Hi twoheartsasone...good luck! I took the TEAS and essay June 18th, but the last testing date was July 2. I found out August 6th, so it took them about a month from the last test date. I hope they get back to you soon since there is kind of a lot to do before you start the program. You have to do a background check, drug test, physical, titers for immunizations if you don't have your immunization card, HIPAA training, CPR certification and get . There is also a 2 day orientation you have to attend...ours is Sept 3 and 4. Keep me updated when you find out!

Thanks for your reply. I tried to comment earlier but it didn't go through lol This sat. will be 3 weeks for us so I'm hoping they will let us know soon. All I have is my CPR card so it sounds like I will be very busy if I do get in! How exciting for your orientation, I bet you can't wait to get started. I will keep in touch, hopefully it will be good news for me too!
