Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.
Thanks
Hey hiphippo, I only took it once but I have talked to people that have. They said that it is possible to get the same test which is why a lot of schools have a restriction on how many times you can take it during a period of time. I think for national they let you take it 3 times but you have to leave 60 days in between. The test does change though but I don't know how often.
Hey people starting in April: are we going to get our orientation info this month? The first letter that we would get something two months before the orientation...I dunno guess I am just really anxious!
To any of you in an evening cohort, how difficult has it been to get evening clinicals or saturday/sunday clinicals.I am in the process of applying but really need to know since my work is days only where weekday mornings are required.
I know they say they cannot guarantee any specific days but what have you found to be the case? Is switching allowed etc. Thanks.
Switching is allowed: as long as you find someone to switch with. Our cohort did have a Sat/Sun clinical rotation for one class so far, so those weekend clinicals are not offered often. And I don't think they have "evening" clinicals. All clinical rotations are generally anytime from 7 AM to 7 PM, depending on whether it is 8 hours or 12 hours long. So, there are no "night" or "PM" shifts per se.
The "evening" cohort only has a Theory Lecture in the evenings but not clinicals, I don't think... And if I'm wrong, someone from the evening cohort please correct me.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
Twilight, have you taken spanish 341 yet? I'm doubling up on my classes and taking it next month the same time as the last month of my OB class. It's an online class. If so how much work did you put into the class? I study night and day and then some for OB so I don't know how much time I'll be able to put into Spanish but I have to take it because I want to get it overwith now before I finish the program. I'm also taking Spanish 340A in March during the second month of my pediatrics rotation so same thing applies there. Any insight would be great, thanks!

Yea I checked with my advisor at the LA campus and they said I needed to take it before I start the program. I guess they're no longer accepting Elem Stats. I am doing the ABSN route.
