Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. :banghead: Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Thanks

Thanks gnomik79! It is getting really close now...we are supposed to know by the end of the month and it is already the 18th! Do you remember when in October you received your acceptance?

I actually received my acceptance letter a couple of weeks before Christmas 2008, telling me I got accepted into the July 2009 cohort (just like "prettyinpink"). But then they emailed me sometime in Jan or Feb 2009, asking me if I want to start in April 2009 instead. So, just like "prettyinpink", I accepted their offer and we started in the same cohort in April.

I GOT IN!!!!!! So I applied for the April 2010 cohort and got an email yesterday asking me if I would like to join the January cohort instead! For those waiting to hear responses, you should get them soon. When I accepted the earlier date, administration said they will send packets next week so everyone check your mail then. GOOD LUCK to everyone!!!!!!:yeah::yeah:

good job sakurak!! I'm excited for you. May I ask you what your scores were for the TEAS test?? I'm just worried mine weren't high enough. I'm soo nervous to hear from them.

So are you saying we get responses through mail and not email? You just made a whole bunch of people nervous! :o

Also I see this is your first post SakuraK, please tell us more about yourself.

Congrats Sakura!! I hope I get the option of going into the January cohort instead! That is a good question that murse brought up. I recently moved...I hope we get emails instead of letters...What did you get? I also wanted to know when you took your TEAS and essay. By the way, what were your stats if you don't mind me asking? (TEAS score, GPA, etc...). I think the earlier you took it the faster the response will be?? Maybe not. Oh well! Congrats and I hope I join the same cohort as you!

Man I think we're all nervous now! I know I am for sure. Please let us know your stats so we can kinda see how they're sending out the letters/emails. Thanks!

Ok this is to Hip, Twilight, and Murse

I took the TEAS September 12th and received an 87 point something (sorry I can't recall the exact number). On that day it looked like there were about 25-30 people testing, and from those who've I chatted with during the break, my score seemed to fall in the middle of the range of scores I weeded out of people. On the essay, I really don't know what I earned. After I took it I felt like I turned in a C paper. I'm horrible at timed essays, I always answer the question, but under time constraints I'm usually unable to expand on main points and my grammar is embarrassing.

In regards to my GPA, the weakest part of my application, is unknown to me. I took many of my courses over due to my irresponsible behavior during my undergrad years, so I know in that aspect of my app I was not competitive at all. Averaging my grades in my head right now, I would guess my GPA was a 2.6.

I hope my information has given you guys confidence and if you guys have anymore questions ask away.

Thank you so much for your response! Congrats again on getting in!! I also wanted to know what your first letter of your last name is...maybe they are going alphabetically? I really am confused as to how they send out their acceptance emails...lol! Again, thanks so much!! We really appreciate it!

Haha i was thinking the same question, twilight saturn!

Thank you very much for your response it was very informative Sakura, and congratulations!

Lol! Great minds think alike, hiphippo!
