National University San Diego

Has anyone had any luck with applying at National University for their nursing program? I applied back in Oct 06 and have been waiting to hear from them. They are supposed to notify in 3 months. I have called and called and written email upon emails with no response really. Please, if anyone has applied and received some sort of letter, I would greatly appreciate your reply.

Yeah! I am at Palomar Hospital...on the 8th floor Med/Surg!!! How funny! I think you are at the one in Poway though correct? I am in the one in Escondido. I am glad to hear that they are being helpful! We try! Thank you so much for your input!! I really appreciate it!!

I just graduated from the CCE program in august, your on your first rotation twilight?

Yes I am! About half way through it too! I just chose what departments I want to work in next rotation! I am trying to get as many hours done before I start at National. I will have over 120 hours for my first rotation!! Congrats on graduating!! By the way, it is the 10th already!! I was told everyone should be getting responses from their application towards the end of this month!!

I think when we say "teach yourself" we more mean you have to do a lot of studying. They go over a ppt in class and are very helpful with any questions, but like pretty in pink said, there is so much info. They are hitting the key points but this will be your career, not just school so you really kinda kneed to know as much as you can. But that is the book stuff. In lab, they show you everything and you practice everything. It's still super fast, but it's hands on so it's not too bad.

Oh ok! Yeah that is much clearer! I was thinking that they gave you a topic and said "good luck!". :lol_hitti That is really good to know! Now I feel more comfortable! I am fine with the studying! I learn the best doing hands on work. I just really hope I get in!!

hey guys! I haven't been on here much but it just hit me that it's been a month since I took the teas test and should be getting an acceptance or denial letter soon. I'm scaarrrrred! I read some posts that people got an acceptance email? For any of those people reading this, how long after the teas test did you get those emails? I'm scared. I don't think I did well on my essay and my I'm not exactly sure what my prereq gpa is but I think it's only okay and not great.

hiphippo, I am in the same boat as you! Where did you see posts that people got responses already? I took the TEAS on Sept. 18th.? What about you?

Oh I meant I saw posts that people from earlier cohorts received "email" acceptances. I didn't know that it was sent through email that's why. Anyway, I took mine on sept. 12th so i should be hearing from them soon. *crossing fingers*
