National University CRNA 2024

Hi everyone!

I applied to the 2024 cohort. Starting the thread early and eagerly awaiting to hear back about an interview. Anyone else apply?!

Do you guys have any tips and advice, I'm planning on applying to the program next year. Thank you!! Best of Luck for your journeys ahead.

I was asked some clinical questions but they were definitely tailored to my past experience and the common drugs involved in that which then transitioned to more personality based questions and really just conversating about some nontraditional things I've done in nursing/the military. All the interviewers I had worked some sort of pre-hospital type nursing or in austere environments at one point so I assume that's why. Felt more like a really chill conversation rather than an interview personally

Oh I didn't say that,  just not too sure if its the program for me. Fresno isn't that ideal..

Well, sounds like your heart wasnt really into it.  CRNA isn't something that you should take lightly.  From what I hear the program is really rough, so make sure you are ready for it.  Better luck next year!

I mean, lighter than getting an MDA right though?

All the "A" players got the invite during the interview.  Im bettng that MRSA didn't get the invite because he would have stated such.  One thing I've learned through my own experience is how to recognize other great people.  Some people here definetly lacking in greatness, and im here to help.

Hope that those other great people have better grammar.

To everyone who does not get accepted, there is one positive; We won't have to put up with this cocky a**hole for three years. 
I am really unsure why someone who claims to be accepted feels the need to discourage others.  People who are great don't need to bring others down to feed their own ego . I am unsure if you're ready for CRNA school- you might need to go back to grade school and learn some manners. Also some basic grammar and spelling.
