Hey Y’all!
I had to push back my application date to this cohort! I have yet to take my TEAS test, but my GPA is a 3.3 currently. Glad to “meet you all”

Hey! It’s the same thing for prerequisites. Classes start every month usually only 1 professor for that one month term., if you want a different teacher consider waiting for the next month class for that to start.

Oh cool, does that mean you’re allowed to take your core classes in whatever order? Typically schools like SDSU have a set schedule given to students and they have to take their core classes in that order until graduation.

Sorry my question was kinda vague. I was referring to prereq classes/professors but that’s also interesting to know. Since you’re taking the nursing core classes, do they have your schedule filled and planned out until graduation?

The schedule is created and then they fill the first 2/3 with the teachers. So far that is all we have gotten but we know when each class starts up until the end of the program. They are really organized on that front.

Specializes in Emergency Medicine.

Hello, Has anyone taken the TEAS Yet? any recommendations for studying?

HEY EVERYONE!! im currently accepted for cohort 64 and just wanted to let yall know that if you take the TEAS online at home, and then retake it within the same week (could be longer), they give you the same questions. I took it on a Wednesday and then that Friday again and it was the same questions. I was confused and thought id messed up but when I called about it, they said they just scramble the question order. I took one with palm desert and one with sdsu and only sent national my second (higher, obvi) score.

Specializes in Allied Health/pre-nursing student.

Congratulations on your acceptance! Thank you so much for letting us know. How many times can you take the TEAS in a year?

Iceebreaker2 CONGRATS! That is so awesome!

Can I ask what your GPA was and final submitted score on the TEAS was?

Lmaooo seriously! Did you just remember the questions and knew the answers the second time around? Because how could you know which ones you got wrong/which answers to change in round 2? Although I could definitely see that helping for the science portion though! I tend to dwell on questions I’m unsure about so that could be an easy way to remember questions LOL!

When you register on the ATI website you have three options: TEAS, TEAS at ATI, and TEAS at PSI.

I found SDSU proctoring exam through selecting the TEAS option where you have to choose program type, country, state, and city. Where did you register to take it with Palm Desert?

national has no limit, theres something floating around about 3x per year but I don't think thats a fact. Id go on the ATI website and text/live chat with an advisor for any questions. The live chat was really helpful for a lot of my questions

I took it with College of the Desert, and found the same way, just a different city. Honestly I just went through city by city until I found a day/time I liked best; since I knew they were all gonna be online, it didn't matter where I was going to be taking them. (ofc, make sure it says that it is Online Proctoring and not in-person)
