National University Cohort 63

Published

Hi all! I wanted to create a thread for Cohort 63 for application period Feb 2020. I’ve been a national student for almost 4 years. I’m taking my teas in December to hopefully score above 90 to be competitive. My GPA sits at a 3.5

Hey cohort 63

How is everyone feeling about their interview? I’m feeling anxious and I feel like time is dragging by to get the results.

I feel like I did really well but at the end of the day who knows if it was good enough! Haha so the waiting game begins but at least I will be distracted by trying to find ways to entertain my son while school is closed haha

I feel like I did really well, but I also thought that the first time I applied in August and scored poorly. I definitely answered the questions how I wanted more confidently this time because I anticipated the questions, and I got the same interviewer as last time ? which was very intimidating. We spent more time on the questions I had for them and just chatting and stuff, fingers crossed

There’s like 10 of us LOL, usually there’s WAY more people commenting, could be good, could be bad haha

I feel like I did well! I was nervous since it was my first time applying, but I’m hoping the experience I have helped. What kind of questions were you guys asked?

I’m having a hard time finding the total cost of tuition on their website. Does anyone know an estimate?

Close to 60k or so. I don’t think they disclose the price anywhere online. They mentioned it in the meeting we had to go to

I remember in like 2017 when I first met with a counselor it was around 36k ?

IF THEY DECIDE NOT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS COHORT OR POSTPONE BECAUSE OF THIS CORONA VIRUS FIASCO I WILL CRY. My friend is in the Palomar nursing program and they completely cancelled her classes for this semester and are making her redo it next semester!! Basically pushing back her graduation date by a semester and they’re doing that to everyone in the program regardless of what semester they’re in!! So terrible

Hopefully, they won't! So far, National University hasn't changed any of their classes. During the interviews, Sean said that he isn't too worried about cancelling classes. Also, Southwestern still has classes in session but just changed it to online for a short time. They also still have clinicals too.

It would be very frustrating but I’m fine with them delaying it but the thought of outright cancelling and making us reapply.... don’t put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!
