National University - Cohort 61 -SD

I wanted to start this for those who are applying to Cohort 61. Has anyone been to a recent nursing info session where they've gone over anything about the newly added interview component?

Smart, I'd do the same thing too, I probably will if i also don't score above 86. It's just feels too risky appying with score that are under the average. Even though i know that its a average, meaning there are scores higher and lower than that, I wanna go in being confident and not nervous ya know?

I'm the exact same as you. I know it's an average but want to feel more secure with a higher score. Since they are not doing the interviews anymore, I wish I knew what total number they look at with your TEAS score and your GPA to EVEN get you an interview. Do you happen to know that???

Are you guys applying to the traditional bachelor or the post bachelor program?

Do you happen to know od they combine both though?

Cool same, and yeah they're combined. The traditional students just have to complete the extra classes on their own time.

Hey! I’m applying for cohort 61 too. Super excited for being the first group to interview, I heard it’s the top 80 applicants who get interviews.

Questions:

- Does anyone know how many people have applied so far?

- Is there a cut off TEAS score? Meaning do you have to get a certain score as a minimum to apply?

I’ve got A’s in all the science courses, and a B+ in BioStats :/ Banking on a good TEAS score.

They literally just take the top 80 students!

Im super excited for the interview too! I know I can do better on an interview better than I can write an essay lol

I dont think we find out how many applied until people aare accepted. That's just a guess though since the last cohort got the stats when people were getting accepted.

There is no score cut off like SDSU has 80% for example, everyone just goes off the averages for the last cohorts and tries to either match or beat that.

I took my TEAS again today and am applying tonight!! ? Good luck everyone!!
