I'm studying for National universitys essay portion of the entry exam.
This is my second time taking it and I was wondering if anyone could help me with what essay topics they have gotten in the past or for this cohort?
There is no way of preparing yourself for this essay as they do not give you any idea of how or what they will use for this essay!
My last essay topic a year ago was something along the lines of, "name 3 characteristics, gifts, talents that you have, that will help you become a nurse."
That's not verbatum but it's pretty close to what I got.
Thanks to those who gave us updates about alternates. I am praying and hoping that myself and all the other alternates will get in.
As far as getting things done. I just got my AHA BLS certificate completed and plan on getting my other shots down. I spoke to the person who is in charge of admissions beginning with "s" and followed up about the alternates. So those who got accepted should already have been enrolled in classes for October, as far as alternates go we will not be enrolled until we are accepted the day of orientation. I have a friend who had gotten accepted and her points are close to mine, so I'm crossing my fingers I get accepted. Any word yet on those who are on the alternate list???????
I heard pretty much the same info that you heard franlo, what was your friends points if you don't mind me asking? Best of luck to you. I tried to ask how many alternates their are but was told they do not tell you until the day of orientation.
Hey keep god first. As far as the TEAS score I know she scored high 70's and I scored a percent lower. But again there's also the essay and gap stuff. Were you able to find out your total points. I emailed the admissions for mine and they said that they only send the scores to those who got denied to see what areas they need to improve in. But they were able to show what I got. I scored in the low 80s.
Hi franlo I did not get a overall score they only said I would be able to learn which alternate position I have at orientation. Did you email (S) for your score? How many alternates are you aware of for this cohort? I so far have a total of 3. I cannot stand not knowing!
Hi Keep God First. I did email 's' but 'j' was the one that got back and provided a print screen of the points. I too cannot stand not knowing as well. As far as the alternates, I do not know how many, from what you know is that 3 including you and I?
Does anyone know if there is a dress requirement for what kind/color of shoes we need to wear? My family wanted to buy me some good ones but I didn't know if they needed to be white etc... Anyone have some good recommendations.
