Hi All, I want to start this thread to help us prepare and ask questions as the BSN Cohort 82 application deadline is approach. We can use this to share stats, keep eachother up to date as deadlines approach, interview letters sent out, help in preparing for interviews and of course encouraging eachother along the way.
To start, I will be applying with a 3.838 GPA (nursing core classes) and 92 TEAS score.
For anyone who has gone through the process or knows others who have gone through, do you think this will be competitive enough?
Thanks for all the info! I agree with Krystle, it sounds like your interview went really well and I also agree that the handshake is something not too worrisome, it does seem like the panel was trying to keep time and I'm sure it was a complete oversight.

Aww thank you you are so sweet! There is so much to learn so I'd love to pick your brain. He's our first one and he just hit 1 week old, and this week has been a steep learning curve for us. Haha I told the interviewers that I was definitely committed! And I really hope we all get that acceptance email soon 🤞 The last cohort heard back pretty quickly after the last interview.
How are you feeling btw? It's definitely a learning curve in the beginning and honestly all throughout, LOL. Each stage of development and growth is new and each child differs in personality so it feels different with each one. Definitely pick my brain! I would love to help in any way possible 🙂
Thanks for sharing! Those are really good odds for us 🤞 I'm glad she shared with you about the number of interviewers. From the sound of it, if you didn't initiate the handshake you didn't get one. I initiated it and they both shook my hand, but maybe they were trying to keep their hands clean for all the people they interviewed LOL! It sounds like your interview went well.
yeah sounds like it! I shook hands when I walked in but at the end she didn't get up to see me out and seemed busy but im sure it wasnt anything to worry about I just got in my head after because I felt so anxious!
I hope we all get in. It sounds like everyone did amazing. Especially all with little ones, you guys are amazing!
Also, did anyone else apply anywhere else? I applied to Palomar ADN program and was wondering if anyone heard back from community colleges. My friend just told me Grossmont and Southwestern College just sent out acceptances.
