National University BSN Cohort 46

Published

I just applied to National University's Generic Entry BSN program for Cohort 46. Anyone else?:)

I requested to join the group :) this is awesome! Also i contacted the school about the pregnancy and looks like I'm good to go and I'll be taking a leave of absence before Clinicals start and until after baby is born/maternity leave. I'll have to join the cohort after us though to finish :/ but as long as I finish that's all that matters!!!

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE:roflmao:. I am so happy for everyone I am a pre nursing student with NU now working on my prerequisites. Did any one complete all there prerequisites with NU???.

@MissNikki2410 Thank you for getting back with me. That is so awesome may I ask how was the classes for you. Like the fast pace was that hard for you and, was you working while taking these classes?.

The fast pace definitely isn't for everyone but I managed. I worked full time as an active duty marine for a majority of the courses and only did the A&P classes and microbiology at the school. The rest I did online. I'm also a mommy to a 3yo so he kept me busy too. It was definitely hard and time consuming but if you want something bad enough, you kinda just find a way, you know?

I know it wasn't easy I have a 19 month old and work full time 5 days a week. I am now trying to get my foot in the door working at a hospital as a CNA. I start my CNA class April 5th its a 8 week course I also start my volunteer services on the 13th at my local hospital. My GE classes start with NU next month as well I am praying for strength. :nurse:

Hello lady, I am doing well. I have to go do my proctored essay tomorrow. I got a 90.7% overall on my TEAS so I am super happy about it.

Classes at NU are fast paced but you will get the hang of it. Stay positive and you will get there! :)

90% OMG you are so in there congrats in advance:yes:. What location are you at again I wonder how will the schedule will be once I get in to the program I have to attend the LA campus. I live way in Rancho that's 1 1/2 away with no traffic...that's commute in always on my mind:woot:

Oh girl I wish I felt that confident about being in but won't settle until I see an acceptance on paper lol I'm all the way in Chula Vista, I applied for the Rancho Bernardo campus and that's 45 min with traffic so I'm fine with that...
