I'm trying to stay positive! I didn't get to study for my teas at all though and I don't feel like I did well enough. My grades are good and I think I did pretty well on the essay but who knows?! Luckily, the odds are better this cohort as less people applied! :)
I had to attend a nursing forum in LA (they took FOREVER evaluating my transcripts) and I was wondering if they mentioned where the SD students typically do their clinicals.
She said there are usually about 200 applicants but this cohort there were like 140 or something. So the odds are MUCH better than they normally would be. :)
As far as clinicals, the LA campus said they do theirs through Kaiser and Sharpe or Scripps so I was just curious as to whether or not the SD forum had specified where we would be doing them. I live up in Temecula so I'm hoping that maybe I could get some done around here. Guess we'll see!!!
Thanks guys for the update on less people applying. Makes it a little better:) I have heard that National has several clinical sites throughout SD county. I too live near the Temecula area so I'm praying for clinicals closer to this side, but I'll cross that bridge once I find out if I'm accepted. Again guys lets stay positive and enjoy our down time before January.....:):)
Hey,
I've read those older posts about status' saying "in review" as well. Unfortunately, I've been checking my status everyday and it still says "test complete." At least I know I'm not the only one! I'm guessing we won't find out until the first week of October? I hate all of this waiting!
Hi! :)
I am jumping in and joining this thread...I'm waiting for the LVN to RN BSN January SD cohort. The school told us that we'd know by the end of October--it feels like forever!
I've been unsuccessful in finding fellow applicants on here, but it sounds like we'll all be at the same school at the same time (if accepted)! So, if you don't mind, I'm going to wait right here along with y'all!
Hopefully you guys get some answers this week--!
Has the school mentioned what the averages are as far as points for acceptance in your program, or for the TEAS? I wish they would tell us how we did on the essay prior to making a decision...it would make things so much easier on us
Best of luck to you all!
