I am looking for the national symbol for diabetes (like the pink ribbon for breast cancer) wanted to know what the symbol for diabetes was.

Okay...conspiracy theory time...

We all know the breast cancer symbol and many other symbols for various illnesses and charities...

The blue circle is relatively unknown...why is this?

Because that's the way the big diabetes marketers like it. If everyone knew about the blue circle...world wide attention would be no doubt brought to this disease. Research dollars would pour in and a cure for diabetes would be found in a few years. The multi billion dollar insulin industry would be shattered...so they keep it quiet.

Is it true? Probably not but its interesting to think about...I think.

i don't really believe that they are actively conspiring against the diabetic

thee is a lot of research going on but they do try to keep info down while they work on clinical trials etc, this is done with a profit motive but if the results are good we can live with them paying lab people and researchers what they are worth

everybody has a live to live and they have bills to pay and families to raise

every med we give every day came out of labs like this
