I'm planning to get into their training. I want to know your experience with them...
@juella. Yes, I went there October 2. My friend who was also scheduled that day was able to claim her ID. some were lucky. I'm not sure how they processed the PRC ID's..if it was random, or they processed those who came in early during the registration. I dont think they could explain WHAT HAPPENED. They just said sorry. What do we get from sorry? Nothing. *sorry offtopic*
I dont want to even consider joining NKTI on their second batch of 2010...
dont want to wait that long. *sigh*
Sigh. I asked them through phone if the will allow Certificate of Attendance and 6+6+2 Completion Form because I still don't have my IVT License, the one on the line said that they really require IVT License and perhaps if I could ask ANSAP to make the 2 months license processing shorten...
OMG..... honestly, i really can't understand why it will take that long for the IVT license to be made. And i hope, NKTI will be a little more of understanding to that. Who would want their license be released after 2 long months. it's like forever. my gosh my gosh my gosh.... we cn do this official 02. let's just be thankful we are already RN's....

hi piguant... just read ur message. i already have my PRC ID. it was 8 days delayed. from oct 5, i had it oct 14. What the....! nweiz, how's our update on our NKTI plan training? Do you have skeds now for your IVT training? The major problem that we both have is that IVT license. i read from official02 that NKTI requires the license.... i don't want to tke the May 2010 either but if there's no way we could have the training this January, what else could we do. update me with our plans. thanks!!!!
I don't know if the scenario will be different if you go there and ask them personally. I give them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps they are just securing the trainees and the hospital about having the IVT License. But I still don't understand, I had my IVT training last September 10-12, 2009, I had my 6+6+2 completion last October 4-5, 2009, I filed my accomplishment form last October 8, 2009 at ANSAP. I have my certificate of attendance signed, I have my accomplishment form signed, and I have the proof that I filed and paid at ANSAP (yes, the receipt), I even have the proof that my license will be available after 2 months (clearly written). If so, I can have it on December, the thing is, the training will be on January. By January, the start of the training, I can safely say that I have the license already. But still no assurance that they will allow me to register, I don't want to waste my time and money on other requirements such as CXR and Hepa B immunity. I don't like the idea of completing all the requirements but in the end you will go home sobbing. But I will still try.
As for IVT training, I may suggest that you call the hospitals, I am sure there will a slot for you. Just try calling them, it will help a lot.
I have a question, will NKTI absorb you after the training? What are the chances? God bless.
@official02.... where did you underwent IVT training? I hope they will be a little considerate on that. I hope, we could make it this January. As far as I know, the Hepa B and x-ray stuff is only to be done if your already qualified/accepted in the registration. As for the absorb thing, according to one of the threads here, if ur in top 10 they will get u. if not u'll have to wait for their call. the thing is, until when will you wait. so it's more of like that. Hopefully, we'll have our training this january.....
I had my IVT Training at Bulacan Medical Center. Yeah, that far. I'm from Quezon City. I have to wake up at 4:00 in the morning to be there before 7:00 am and you will arrive at home at around 9;00 pm, no more time to study. Thank God, it's only for 3 days, the 2 days completion went well too at the same hospital. Atleast, the 2,700 pesos payment is all worth it. The staff nurses during the completion are very nice and accomodating, they will help you especially those in Medical Ward.
About NKTI, yeah I read that too but that is just so profound. I wish someone from the past training can make things clear for us. If you are in the top 10, how long will you wait after the training to be hired? If you are not, what should one do to be hired? 10,000 pesos is a big money after all. Thanks.
yeah omg..... that's quite far and a bit expensive too.... but it's nice to know you're done. :nuke: one step up. :reindeer: am just starting mine and hopefully i'll be able to finish everything and get the certificates before november ends. it's impossible for the ID....
and yes, you're right... hope that someone will explain things briefly for us. i also would want to know what are the other preparations that we need to do like on exams... interviews.... if there's any... i remember i talked to a graduating trainee from the said training and he said the same thing about the absorption stuff. too bad i wasn't able to dig more :crash_com 10,000 is really big and raises too whenever new batches start... let's be updated.. thanks!
hi guys, my friend has already undergone bst training in nkti... according to him, there is no assurance that you will be hired immediately after the training... you still have to undergo the normal process of application like passing the resume and waiting for their call.... but the good news is, you have an advantage over other applicants if you have taken their bst training since you are already familiar with their setting... the only problem is, there is a strong competition among past trainees since there are a lot of nurses per batch and everyone is trying to apply as a staff nurse...

Thanks for the inputs trezce! are you referring to the Dialysis Management Course? Me and juella are just new grads/fresh board passers and we dont qualify for DMC yet, we are applying for Basic Nursing Skills Training.
I also would want DMC, but it's so expensive!! plus...it requires 6mo bedside experience at 150bed capacity hospital.
